TASP Test Breakdown

The TASP is a mechanism used to demonstrate that students have the academic skills necessary to perform effectively in college. Students must take the TASP, or an alternative test, before starting classes at a public community college, public technical college, or public university in Texas.

For most students passing the TASP is a steppingstone to college and better things. In other words it may increase your lifetime earnings significantly and allow you to get that better paying job.
