The Missouri General Education Assessment, or MoGEA, is a test used to test the applicant’s knowledge in order to assess the applicant’s ability to teach future students.
The MoGEA Social Studies practice test is specifically designed to make sure that the test-taker is knowledgeable about the MoGEA and is able to know what to expect when it is time to take the Social Studies portion of the MoGEA.
The Social Studies portion will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions that will address three main topics.
These topics are as follows:
- Inquiry and Literacy Skills, which will make up 38 percent of the main sub-test
- History, Geography, Culture, and Society, which will make up 31 percent of the sub-test
Due to our foreknowledge of the domains of this test, we have made sure that the MoGEA Social Studies practice test will cover each of these topics very thoroughly.
When taking this portion of the MoGEA, you will have up to 60 minutes to complete the section.
