NYSTCE Technology Education Practice Test

Do you love technology? How about teaching others to love technology? Then, take the NYSTCE Technology Education exam! The NYSTCE Technology Education exam is designed for those individuals wishing to become certified to teach technology in the state of New York. The test consists of all material needed to teach technology in a regular classroom at the primary and secondary level. The NYSTCE Technology Education test is a Computer-Based Test (CBT,) with testing sites available all across the state of New York and the country.

Opportunities to take this test are available year round, Monday through Saturday. Individuals wishing to take this test must register to confirm a seat.

The testing fee is $134. The NYSTCE Technology Education exam consists of 90 selected-response questions (multiple choice, matching and/or true-false) and 1 constructed-response question (fill in the blank, short answer and/or essay.)

Ascore of 520 or higher must be achieved to receive certification and scores are available approximately 3 weeks after the testing date.
