GACE Special Education Reading, English Language Arts, and Social Studies Practice Test (087)

In today’s world, there’s no denying the significance of a solid understanding of the world around us and its cultures, as well as the ability to communicate. This is true for students of all ability levels, though the means of teaching them these skills may vary in terms of the skills educators will need. If you plan to teach social studies, language arts, and reading to students with special needs, you will need to hone a more specialized skill set.

In Georgia, all aspiring educators will have to earn a passing score on the GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators) exam relevant to their field.

In your case, this will be the GACE Special Education Reading, English Language Arts, and Social Studies exam.

By taking this exam, you will prove you have all the skills required to help your students as thoroughly as you can.

The GACE Special Education Reading, English Language Arts, and Social Studies test is a bit different from the other GACE tests in terms of format.

It features only one section. As a whole, the test consists of 70 multiple choice (“selected-response”) questions, which you’ll have two hours to complete.

50 percent of the test pertains to Social Studies, while the other 50 percent focuses on Reading and Language Arts.
