ACT Test Dates
The ACT examination is a national college admissions examination that assesses knowledge in four areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The ACT test is offered at least four times a school year in all of the fifty states.
For the 2008-2009 School Year, the ACT test dates are:
April 12, 2008 (Registration Deadline - March 10, 2008 | Late Registration Deadline - March 21, 2008)
June 14, 2008 (Registration Deadline - May 9, 2008 | Late Registration Deadline - May 23, 2008)
September 13, 2008* (Registration Deadline - August 12, 2008 | Late Registration Deadline - August 22, 2008)
October 25, 2008 (Registration Deadline - September 19, 2008 | Late Registration Deadline - October 3, 2008)
December 13, 2008 (Registration Deadline - November 7, 2008 | Late Registration Deadline - November 20, 2008)
February 7, 2009** (Registration Deadline - January 6, 2009 | Late Registration Deadline - January 16, 2009)
April 4, 2009 (Registration Deadline - February 27, 2009 | Late Registration Deadline - March 13, 2009)
June 13, 2009 (Registration Deadline - May 8, 2009 | Late Registration Deadline - May 22, 2009)
*Only certain states offer the September 13, 2008 test date. Those states are Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and West Virginia.
**New York has special legislative requirements that result in the February test date not being available in that state.
