The Optometry Admission Test, or OAT, is a test designed to ensure that students possess the knowledge that is required to be qualified to enter an optometry education program.
The test is divided into four sections:
- Survey of the Natural Sciences
- Physics
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Reading Comprehension
For those wishing to enter an Optometry program, you must pass the 50 question OAT Reading Comprehension test.

The OAT Reading Comprehension practice test will cover the same content as the actual test. Content such as:
- the ability to read scientific information
- the ability to completely comprehend scientific information
- the ability to thoroughly analyze scientific information
When taking the actual test, you will have 50 minutes to complete every question.
